Our Don Polo farm has Fair Trade certification, which has allowed us to carry out very important social works in the community. This standard is based on a product certification system where the social, economic and environmental aspects of production are certified in accordance with the international standards adopted by Fair Trade Producers and Traders.
This certification grants workers grouped under the Association modality, 100% of additional benefits to those granted by Ecuadorian law. Likewise, the certification ensures compliance with high standards of care for the environment, and also contributes to the development of the community surrounding the farm.
