We have a 200ha farm for the production of organic bananas, Don Polo.
We have 104ha in farms for the production of conventional bananas María del Pilar, Doménica and la Inmaculada.
ORGANIC FARM DON POLO
With a total area of 300ha, this farm is the largest and the only one dedicated to the production and export of organic bananas. It currently has 200ha planted and has a production capacity of 540,000 boxes per year. In this year, 2021, we will meet the objective of the total planting of the farm.
We are located in the Pechiche area in the Province of Santa Elena, where we have been one of the main sources of work since the implementation of the farm. Being a low-income community, we have helped with the training of staff so that they can work with us in a decent and stable job complying with all labor laws.
In this farm, we are close to the installation of solar panels with the aim of reducing carbon emissions, being the first farm in the country to implement this system.

CONVENTIONAL FARMS
At Mundo Banana, we have three conventional farms that add up to a total of 140ha of banana production, where we comply with the highest quality standards to access the most demanding markets.
In these farms, we have implemented many practices to reduce the use of chemicals for which we have decided not to use herbicides, nematicides and chlorpyrifos, managing to maintain high productivity.
Our goal will always be to ensure the well-being of our workers, so we comply with all our labor obligations and provide support to the surrounding communities.
INMACULADA FARM
It has 10 hectares and is located in Simon Bolívar province of Guayas.
