Situated in the Chanduy area of Santa Elena Province, Don Polo spans a total area of 300 hectares dedicated to the production of organic bananas.

Our presence in the Chanduy area has significantly contributed to the local community, which has historically faced economic challenges. We have provided training opportunities to community members, enabling them to secure decent and stable employment while complying with all labor laws.

As part of our commitment to sustainability, we have installed solar panels on the farm. This initiative aims to reduce carbon emissions, making us the first farm in the country with the largest banana photovoltaic project to adopt this environmentally friendly system.

At Mundo Banana, we operate three conventional farms, totaling 250 hectares of banana production, where we comply with the highest quality standards to access the most demanding markets.

Within these farms, we have implemented numerous practices to minimize the use of chemicals. We decided to abstain from using herbicides, nematicides, and chlorpyrifos, while still maintaining high productivity levels.

Our utmost priority is the well-being of our workers, and as such, we fully comply with all labor obligations and provide support to the neighboring communities.
